Community Service: Our Way of Giving Back

Community service is a core purpose intent for the ISC team. Based across the globe, our staff volunteers in a wide range of community and public service sectors. These include building of community-based projects such as playgrounds, community centers and homes.

In addition our team members enjoy This includes working in soup kitchens, restoring and maintaining national park lands, playing music at community events and the mentoring of both teens and adults.

Giving back to both the local and global communities is our way of paying forward our good fortune.

At one time or another, cancer impacts just about everyone. That is one reason why ISC staff volunteer in support of the annual HOPE IN MOTION event which raises money for Stamford Hospital’s Bennett Cancer Center.

There are some in this world that have not had many opportunities afforded them.  As a result, we all should try to give back in their own way. ISC staff give back by volunteering at their local Habitat for Humanity build sites.

Being based in Pike County, Pennsylvania, it is important for ISC to support local organizations. That is why ISC is both a sponsor of the Pike County Historical Society and our staff members volunteer at the society’s Columns Museum in Milford, Pennsylvania.

Music is a key portion of all our lives. Hudson Valley Public Radio, is instrumental in fostering the presentation of LIVE music in and round the Tri-State intersection (New York – New Jersey – Pennsylvania). ISC is a proud sponsor / underwriter of the programming at HVPR.
